Florence Moloso Riis

Florence Moloso Riis, native of Minnesota, licensed school teacher, professional writer, wife of Edward Riis and daughter-in-law to Jacob Riis, the author of How the Other Half Lives. More will appear here soon including a biography, a retelling of the grand adventure that won her a $100 bet in 1905, and the restoration of some of her published works. A version of Florence served as the narrator to the Audible Original audio book Takers Mad by Luke Jerod Kummer in 2022. Find the book here. Florence was my great grandfather Edgar George Moloso’s older sister.
